WHAT IS EXECUTIVE COACHING?

A customised, holistic and inspirational development process.  It is intended to accelerate an executive’s business results and effectiveness as a leader through the transformation of their behaviours and, by extension, those of their colleagues.  It is based on a collaborative relationship between the executive, his/her key stakeholders and an executive coach.

Whether a leader is seeking success with a challenging new role, or managing a major business transition, our coaching will support and develop them.

That from a broader perspective of value creation, your organisation may have several issues and needs:

  1. Defining the competencies (behaviours and abilities) required of leaders if the organisation is to execute its business strategy.  In particular, those competencies required for significant impact to the business, short and/or long term.

Board level leadership coaching

Board level positions invariably entail a heavy workload with scarce time to explore issues in depth. Senior leaders have far fewer colleagues with whom they can openly discuss highly sensitive and complex issues.

Oxygen works with senior executives on a fully confidential basis to explore and address real issues and concerns. We focus on behaviours, goals and outcomes to ensure that there is tangible impact on their performance and the organisation.

Transition coaching

Transition coaching supports senior leaders during periods of intense organisational transition and change.  Leading change can be particularly demanding and challenging and a leader’s own needs can often be sacrificed as they focus on attending to the needs of the organisation throughout the process.

Transition coaching supports leaders on a short-term basis by providing the time, perspective and balance to think, plan and manage effectively in a challenging context. 

We have extensive experience as senior leaders ourselves and of working with leaders in organisations undergoing intense transition.

Expat coaching

Moving, settling, working and flourishing overseas can present significant challenges, especially as a family.  Beyond the unfamiliarity and intense workload associated with adapting to and succeeding in a new role, there are numerous other changes – professional, domestic, cultural and even situational.

Our coaching supports executives as well as spouses in meeting these challenges head-on – both pre-departure and post-arrival.  An executive will find it difficult to perform at their best if they, their partner or their family are not comfortable and fulfilled in their new life.

Our coaches are exceedingly well qualified to provide coaching to expatriates and their partners.  Our coaches have lived and worked abroad with family.  We have personally experienced and can fully relate to the specific transition and cultural challenges that can arise.
